Although some people if are preferring to use glass to get more space then they prefer to have opaque glass instead of having a transparent one. In this way they can at least have some amount of privacy stored for them.

Fragility

Well another one con that will be concern for most people is that glass is very fragile. A slight hit to it can create a hole or a crack messing up the whole thing. You can repaid a room divider made of a wall or wood by plastering or covering up the broken parts but when the divider is glass then you need to replace the entire frame in case broke.

Well it all depends on the preference made by the people when they decide to buy room dividers for their house. But we have seen that glass is always preferred for the reasons being they are light, occupy lesser space, bring more light and make a real decor to the house
